The present situation with Hypertension in the USA

The hypertension is a pathological condition when the raised arterial pressure is caused not by the natural body reactions to these or that physiological situations, this is a consequence of unbalancing of the systems regulating arterial pressure.

Jacob Bogatin claims that the hypertension as an increase of arterial pressure represents one of the most widespread cardiovascular diseases. Insidiousness of illness is that it can proceed with the imperceptibly for the patient. The person is disturbed by headaches, irritability, dizziness; his or her memory worsens, working capacity decreases. Having had a rest the person ceases to feel these symptoms for a while and thinks and takes them for the consequences of usual weariness. So he doesn’t address to the doctor for many years. But eventually the hypertension progresses. Bogatin Jacob names the following ones: headaches and dizzinesses, mood differences become constant and everyday’s issues. Considerable memory impairment and intelligence, weakness in finitenesses are possible.

Hypertensive illness affects people at the most efficient stage of their life. It can differ a lot: may be a long and persistent current, also may be accompanied by the development of heavy complications (the heart attack of a myocardium, a brain stroke, warm and nephritic insufficiency) as well as it can be accompanied by decrease in work capacity up to physical inability. As well as any chronic disease, hypertension can be treated only with a constant, like, for instance, J.Bogatin and competent therapy in a cardiology clinic. One of the main issues in treating this disease is that a person must realize himself that his way of life is to be changed completely. Only the combination of these factors allows maintaining the average arterial pressure and helps to keep good state of health and working capacity for long years.

The modern way of life has led to the following daunting figures: 39.2% men and 41.4% women in the US are hypertensive. Thus only 37.1% men and 58% women are aware of this whereas effective treatment is exercised for 5.7% and 17.5% respectively. It means that there is still no adequate control of disease.
