The patients, suffering from epilepsy should not be isolated from a society. In most cases they should visit usual kindergartens, schools and to conduct an active way of life, only with some restrictions.

Bogatin Yakov suggests that the epilepsy is a disease of a brain at which there are repeated not provoked attacks. An exception of this rule are reflex forms of an epilepsy which arise owing to provoking factors. The most frequent version of reflex forms a-photosensitive epilepsy. This disease usually debuts at teenage age, with prevalence at girls. Approximately at 50 % of patients of this group attacks arise only in reply to rhythmic light stimulation. The frequency most dangerous to the person — 15-20 flashes in a second.

Any variants of faltering rhythmical light stimulation in a life can be provoking factors: viewing of telecasts (especially light shows and cartoon films - «shooters»); the screen of the monitor of the computer (mainly, video games); light-music in discos; driving on a bicycle of lengthways linearly planted trees; watching over flashing of cable columns or a light source through a window in transport (especially at night and on the big speed); watching over solar patches of light on water; flashing of headlights of passing transport during driving in the car. It only the most frequent factors; actually there are many more of them according to Bogatin Yakov. Last years the "exotic" situations provoking attacks by light stimulation are described many. For example, «an epilepsy from cat's eye» - the attacks arising from a back lantern of a bicycle at the patient, being behind the bicyclist. Cases at which attacks are provoked by watching in over alternating strips concern rather rare forms of a photosensitive epilepsy: writing-books in a ruler, wall-paper, clothes in a strip or a cage and so forth

Yakov Bogatin thinks that special version of the photosensitive form - television (or computer, that as a matter of fact same) an epilepsy at which attacks are provoked mainly at viewing of telecasts or game in computer games. Attacks can arise during computer games, at use of games hookups. Allocate even such terms, as «an epilepsy of computer games», «an epilepsy of star wars». Such attacks arise at the age from 7 till 17 years and, as a rule, are provoked by long viewing of telecasts with the flashing image (for example, cartoon films) in fade light. Attacks arise at image viewing in black-and-white colour and when the distance to the telescreen makes less than 2m. Probably occurrence of attacks only at the moment of approach to the telescreen at switching of channels of the TV is more often. Some patients have a unique phenomenon «a violent attraction to the telescreen». Thus before the beginning of attacks they start to peer into the telescreen which gradually occupies all field of vision steadfastly. Bogatin Yakov claims that there might appear sensation of impossibility to take away a sight from the telescreen and a violent attraction to it. Patients slowly come nearer to the TV, sometimes approaching closely, then arise loss of consciousness and generalized spasms.
