The secret of a healthy lifestyle

Nowadays the whole society suffers from a stressful lifestyle. We live in a constant rush, try to satisfy all our desires and get everything right now. In the world of numerous temptations it is so hard to stop, look around and understand that living for the future isn't absolutely right. In order to achieve all our ambitious dreams it is extremely important to take care about ourselves and our health as well. With the development of a medical service many people rely on the wide range of medicines and artificial pills. They truly believe that taking a pill will stop pain and other problems will go away with it. But years passing and we start to notice that even climbing on the 7th floor seems to be an impossible mission for us.

To my mind the best way to stay fit, strong, pretty and handsome is to start leading a healthy lifestyle and be ready for challenges and difficulties of the world.

First of all you should pay attention to the food you consume. Your diet should be well-balanced including the necessary ingredients such as fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Avoid eating fast-food products because it is the main reason of overweight what usually leads to serious health problems, for example, heart attacks. We should not forget that 90% of our body consists of water, that's why drinking a 1-1.5 litres of water a day is an absolute must for everyone. Try to add as much fresh vegetables and fruit to your daily consumption plan as you can. This plus a good rest and sleep will help you to get a healthy skin colour and you will never turn to skincare products like creams or masks.

Secondly, go in for sports. Start with simple exercises but do them every day - it means on a continuous basis. Suggest your friend to do jogging or join a gym. Remember that going abroad to the sea or mountains helps you to stay energetic and strong for the whole year.

And finally the last but not the least is getting rid of all your bad habits. Follow all these pieces of advice and always keep in mind that a healthy living is a revelation of your inner and outer world.

The present situation with Hypertension in the USA

The hypertension is a pathological condition when the raised arterial pressure is caused not by the natural body reactions to these or that physiological situations, this is a consequence of unbalancing of the systems regulating arterial pressure.

Jacob Bogatin claims that the hypertension as an increase of arterial pressure represents one of the most widespread cardiovascular diseases. Insidiousness of illness is that it can proceed with the imperceptibly for the patient. The person is disturbed by headaches, irritability, dizziness; his or her memory worsens, working capacity decreases. Having had a rest the person ceases to feel these symptoms for a while and thinks and takes them for the consequences of usual weariness. So he doesn’t address to the doctor for many years. But eventually the hypertension progresses. Bogatin Jacob names the following ones: headaches and dizzinesses, mood differences become constant and everyday’s issues. Considerable memory impairment and intelligence, weakness in finitenesses are possible.

Hypertensive illness affects people at the most efficient stage of their life. It can differ a lot: may be a long and persistent current, also may be accompanied by the development of heavy complications (the heart attack of a myocardium, a brain stroke, warm and nephritic insufficiency) as well as it can be accompanied by decrease in work capacity up to physical inability. As well as any chronic disease, hypertension can be treated only with a constant, like, for instance, J.Bogatin and competent therapy in a cardiology clinic. One of the main issues in treating this disease is that a person must realize himself that his way of life is to be changed completely. Only the combination of these factors allows maintaining the average arterial pressure and helps to keep good state of health and working capacity for long years.

The modern way of life has led to the following daunting figures: 39.2% men and 41.4% women in the US are hypertensive. Thus only 37.1% men and 58% women are aware of this whereas effective treatment is exercised for 5.7% and 17.5% respectively. It means that there is still no adequate control of disease.

Sleeplessness, symptoms and treatment

It is for sure that each of us at least once in his or her life suffered from insomnia.
Probably it occurred at night before an exam or before an important meeting when you tried to lie down earlier to have a proper sleep. But instead of this you couldn’t sleep and your brain was analyzing different scrolling variants of a forthcoming meeting. Or if we take another example when after a hard working day when you literally “fall asleep on the move” you laid down in a bed imaging a good rest but instead of it you feel that the bed is uncomfortable, it produces hardly distinguishable but irritating sounds and the desire to sleep irrevocably disappears.
30-45% of people regularly experience this and a half of them get insomnia as a chronic disease.

Jacob Bogatin proclaims that there are three stages of a common type of insomnia:

The first stage includes difficulties of the beginning of a sleep (presomnian frustration), i.e. problems with falling asleep. The person is gradually trying to think over an upcoming sleep when actually his/her brain is still in the peak stage of activity. The fear of “sleep never coming” blocks the normal slowdown of brain’s activity.

Frustration of the second stage (intrasomnic frustration) results in frequent night awakenings from sounds or from a restless sleep, a nightmare, sensation of pains, infringement of breath, sharp movements after which a person can not manage to sleep for a long time.

And at last, on the third stage (postsomniac) there is a problem of a complicated morning awakening, the lowered working capacity, sensation of weakness, drowsiness.

There are also cases when a person complains with the following words: "I have not closed eyes during the whole night". After a close examination a doctor finds out that the patient sleeps even less than hours a day! J.Bogatin thinks that this is a deformed perception of a sleep and can lead to chronic insomnia.

So, if the problem of sleeplessness comes out and knocks at your door – the problem may be solved in a simple way – you are to learn to sleep correctly!

Jacob Bogatin recommends to try to draw up a schedule of work and rest, a warm and soothing bath is necessary to calm your nerves before going to sleep and probably a course of autotraining will be wise to take up.

When sleeplessness is caused by strong weariness or stress you can take soporific medicines though it is absolutely a must to remember that you should follow the given prescription as well as medicine’s instruction. The duration (the period when medicine may be taken) should not exceed 10-14 days.

If all the measures mentioned above do not help you and you still can not fall asleep and suffer the attacks of insomnia – you should definitely consult a somnologist. Jacob Bogatin: "Probably, additional inspection will be required from a neuropathologist. For insomnia treatment it is wise to take some physiotherapeutic procedures, phototherapy, an acupuncture course and a psychotherapy course as well".
